Refund Policy

Our refund policy for subscriptions and credit purchases. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, subject to the conditions below.

1. Subscription Refunds (30-Day Guarantee)

1.1 Eligibility

We offer a one-time, 30-day money-back guarantee for your first subscription purchase on Creators' Toolkit. To qualify for a full refund, all of the following must be true:

  • The refund is requested within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date
  • This is your first subscription with us (the guarantee does not apply to renewals, upgrades, downgrades, or re-subscriptions after cancellation)
  • You have used zero (0) credits from your subscription
  • You have generated zero (0) images during the subscription period
  • Your account is in good standing (not suspended or terminated for policy violations)

1.2 If You Have Used Any Credits - No Refund

If you have used even one credit or generated even one image, your subscription purchase is non-refundable. This is because:

  • Credits are consumed to pay for AI image generation, which incurs real costs to us
  • Generated images are digital goods that cannot be "returned"
  • You received and used the service you paid for

There are no partial refunds. The refund policy is binary: either you qualify for a full refund (zero usage) or you do not.

1.3 What "Used" Means

Credits are considered "used" when they are spent on any generation action, regardless of whether:

  • You were satisfied with the output
  • The image met your expectations
  • You deleted the generated image afterward
  • The AI produced unexpected or undesirable results

Exception: Credits automatically refunded by our system due to technical failures (e.g., generation errors, timeouts) do not count as "used."

1.4 What Happens After Refund

  • Your subscription is immediately cancelled
  • Your account reverts to the Free tier
  • All remaining subscription credits are removed
  • Previously purchased credit packs (if any) remain on your account

2. Credit Pack Refunds (One-Time Purchases)

2.1 Eligibility

One-time credit pack purchases may be refunded only if:

  • The request is made within 14 calendar days of purchase
  • The credits are 100% unused. Not a single credit from the pack has been consumed
  • You have not previously received a refund for a credit pack purchase

2.2 No Partial Refunds

Credit packs are digital goods consumed on use. If any credits from a pack have been used, the entire purchase is non-refundable. There are no partial refunds for partially-used credit packs.

3. When Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds are not available in the following situations:

  • Any credit usage: If you have used any credits or generated any images, no refund is available
  • Subscription renewals: Auto-renewal charges are not eligible for refund. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid charges. It is your responsibility to manage your subscription.
  • Dissatisfaction with AI output: AI generation is inherently variable and unpredictable. Unsatisfactory image quality, style, or accuracy is not grounds for a refund. See our Terms of Service.
  • Account termination for violations: Accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Acceptable Use Policy forfeit all credits and are not eligible for refunds.
  • Price changes: A change in pricing does not entitle existing subscribers to a refund for prior payments.
  • Feature or model changes: Changes to features, AI models, or platform functionality do not constitute grounds for a refund.
  • Duplicate purchases: If you accidentally purchase twice, contact us within 48 hours. After 48 hours, standard refund conditions apply.
  • Free credits: The one-time free credit grant has no cash value and is not refundable.
  • Service outages: Temporary service interruptions do not entitle you to a refund.

4. EU Consumer Rights

Under EU consumer protection law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, for digital content and services, by using our Service and generating images (consuming digital content), you acknowledge that:

  • You have requested that the digital content be supplied immediately upon purchase
  • You acknowledge and agree that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been fully provided (i.e., once credits are consumed or images are generated)

Our 30-day guarantee exceeds the EU minimum 14-day requirement for unused digital content. Where our policy is more favorable than local law, our policy applies. Where local law provides stronger protections, local law prevails.

5. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email hello@creators-toolkit.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your account email and the date of purchase
  3. Briefly state your reason for requesting a refund

We will review your request and verify eligibility (checking credit usage and generation history) within 5 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

6. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback (payment dispute) with your bank or credit card company instead of contacting us first:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
  • We will submit evidence of your purchase, usage history, credit consumption, and agreement to these terms to the payment processor
  • If the chargeback is resolved in our favor, your account may be permanently terminated
  • Repeat chargeback abuse will result in a permanent ban and we reserve the right to pursue legal action

We strongly encourage you to contact us first. We are committed to resolving legitimate disputes fairly and promptly.

7. Abuse Prevention

To maintain fair pricing for all users, we monitor for refund abuse patterns. We reserve the right to deny refund requests from users who:

  • Have previously received a refund from us (one refund per customer, ever)
  • Create multiple accounts to exploit the guarantee
  • Show patterns consistent with refund abuse (e.g., subscribing and cancelling repeatedly)
  • Attempt to manipulate usage records or credit balances
